Kaldur was sure that Robin would grow to be taller than all the girls, but he did wonder if the change in height would make the young hero feel more Batman-like. He didn't voice this opinion out loud as it might have brought up a future issue that the team didn't need. Wonder Girl's comment about the water brought his mind back to what he was currently doing. "The water in here is always nice though I am not sure why."

It was always fun to be in the water for Kaldur, but he knew that the rest of the team enjoyed a good swim especially at a beach. Kal also wished that the rest of the team were here to enjoy the nice relaxing pool area that they had. "At least Kid Flash is not here to drown in the water because he was distracted by you in your swimsuit."

[Wondergirl]

Cassie looked at him. "Well it could be because its water really. Being in water is always relaxing. Also maybe its because your from the water. So that maybe anytime your in the water you just end up in a relaxing setting." Cassie wasn't sure if that sounded right.

Shaking her head she looked at Kal. "Na Kid Flash is way into Miss Martian. He don't knotice much of other girls unless its her." Going under she didn't want him to see how she was somewhat jealous of miss Martian. She took a small lap and went back to him with a smile. "Sorry was getting kind of cold."

"You could be on to something there." Kaldur wasn't actually sure if it had anything to do with his origins, but it was as good a theory as anything else. He thought it might have to do with some sort of supernatural aspect in the area, but Kal was probably trying to find some sort of mission to occupy his time as relaxing could become tiresome.

The comment about Kid Flash being into Miss Martian made Kaldur wonder if the attention that was given to their female extraterrestrial team mate was bringing up some issues among the other female members of the team, but he may have been over-analyzing it a bit. "He will eventually realize that pursuing Miss Martian is a lost cause."

[Wondergirl]

"Like for me I feel much better when I'm up in the skys." With a smile she looked at him. "So with me its the skies with you it could be the water." Cassie flew up into the air and flew down fast to make a big splash. Touching the bottom she swam back up and smiled. "That is what you call a dive." She said with a laugh

Cassie shrugged. "Yeah maybe.That she has feelings for someone else and that someone else probably has feelings for her as well. Then Kid Flash would move on maybe." Cassie looked at the water and smiled. "The two best elements are water and air."

Her argument was the most logical one that could be made, and Kaldur knew this for sure when he couldn't come up with anything else to say. He watched do her little maneuver in the air before going back into the water at a high velocity. "I am pretty sure that the technical term is called a swan dive."

"It is too bad that I don't have the heart to point out the obvious to our speedy friend. We might be saved from a few of his one liners for a few days until he finds a new crush." Kaldur was not sure what the best elements were, but he figured that Wonder Girl was just choosing the ones that were more closely related to the two of them. He simply nodded in response to the comment.

Cassie shrugged. “I don’t know names of dives and other things. I just like to swim.” Cassie just floated there looking at him. “You know the names of things like this? So how old are you by the way?”

“He is funny though so I’m hoping that maybe he can get a girl with those one liners. I think he will finally find someone. Artemis I think likes him for right now. So maybe he can find something to her.” Shaking her head she looked at him. “Any way why did you agree to join this team?”

Kaldur knew the names for certain dives, but his specialty was in a category that he had made up in order to remember strategic movements for underwater battle. It would not be of interest to anyone else unless they were in a training session that took place in an underwater environment. "I am around seventeen years old, so I know a few things in relation to various swimming related moves."

He also wished the best for his teammate in finding a relationship with someone like Artemis. It would be good for the young speedster to have someone that would make him mature gradually. "At first it was just to prove a point to my king, but I stayed with the team to prove something to myself. You know?"

[Wondergirl]

Cassie smiled and looked at him. “Wow 17 cool.” She couldn’t help but smile at him. It was nice to talk to him. This was a great time to spend time with another teammate and actually enjoyed this.

“Yeah I understand where your going with prove yourself.” Cassie also had to prove that she was smart and good at what she was doing. “I have to keep up with everything. I need to prove things and prove myself.”

"The sad thing about my age is that I am legally allowed to drive, but I unfortunately don't have the need to do so. Cars are not really built for underwater and teenagers are not allowed to play with submarines." He didn't really need one, but it would be nice to have one for his friends in case the need arose.

It seemed that they were all her for similar reasons. Well except Kid Flash who only wanted to keep things as souvenirs, which was sort of immature but also a great way to show new teammates and their mentors all that they have accomplished. "It seems that we are all so similar, and yet so different from one another. Don't you agree?"

[Wondergirl]

Cassie began to laugh. "Well don't worry I don't need to drive. Whats the point when you can fly." Like few of the members of the team she new how to drive a motorcycle but that was only for missions. "Since you can breath underwater no point on a submarine for you."

Cassie nodded "Seems so really. I just wish we all can have a day off and just get to know eachother. JUst make that as our mission." Cassie just let the water go around her as she moved her legs a little. It was a verly calming just letting the water carry her.

Kaldur couldn't fly at all, and swimming was not a useful mode of transportation on the surface world, so being able to operate a vehicle that could hold his other teammates seemed like a very important item that he needed to pass one day. For now, it was good that Miss Martian has a ship they could use to get to places.

"On a day that the world's troubles are little to none, then I shall approach our mentors with this idea, but until then we will have to squeeze in social conversations like this one during the few hours that we are not working or training."

[Wondergirl]

“One day don’t think that will ever happen. I mean talking to you I’m learning about you well kind of.” Smiling she just laid on her back as the water held her. “Today was a good day really. Got to talk to a teammate and have a great convo with you.” Closing her eyes she smiled. “So I guess a good way to learn about everyone is have one on one time with them.” With a smile she put her feet on the floor and smiled at him.

"I have also gained quite a bit of knowledge about you from this conversation as well." There were many things that could be learned from a one on one conversation with a friend, but for a team it would take far to long to have the necessary conversations for everyone to learn about each other. Kaldur was going to have to make himself an objective of getting to know each of his teammates before the next mission. "One simple conversation can either open a can of worms or a box of treasures."

Cassie began to laugh "I have no heard that for a long time can of worms." Cassie looked at him and smiled. "You know I would love to be able to breath underwater and say under forever. Just to feel every thing that moves around you. To be able to swim with fishes and other water creatures." Cassie looked at him "You always seem so i dunno like you don't know what your doing. Maybe one day we should hit the town and have some fun."

Cassie dived under the water once again and got to the wall and climbed up. "So who trained you then well besides Aquaman?"

Being an Atlantean, Kaldur had learned a few of the common catch phrases that surface dwellers used, but from the way Cassie responded he believed that he may have been a little behind with the times. "If you were to stay under the water forever, then you would not be able to feel the wind in your hair or the Sun's heat on your skin, and not all creatures under the sea are ones that you would want to spend time swimming with."

Kaldur thought of his last visit to Atlantis, where he had to fight a man by the name of Black Manta in order to protect a specimen. "There are many dangers that one must be cautious of while under the water as well as on land, which is why I would be greatly honored to see what there is to do for fun on the surface."

"My training was done by King Orin and his wife, Queen Mera. One was my instructor of the ways of battle, and the other was my teacher in the arts of sorcery."
