Afternoon (open)

[Wondergirl]

A number and a name was called out as someone was transported inside Mount Justice. Wondergirl smiled then frowned when she saw nobody was there. Walking to the common room she had a sad look on her face. Nobody seemed to be there. With a shrug she went to the couch and sat down on the couch. Placing her bag right next to her. Finding the remote she turned on the tv and found a channel. Getting her book out she began to right in her diary. Soon she just began to write every so often she would pause and look at the screen.

Her stomach started to growl. Getting up she walked to the kitchen and began to make her a sandwich. She just placed ham and cheese. Once she was done she went and crabbed some chips and walked back to the couch and sat down. She began to eat as she watched tv.

Cassie was getting bored being alone. She hated to be alone sometimes. She figured that Miss. Martian and Superboy would be here.

“I wonder where every one is?” Cassie asked herself out loud.

As she sat there Wondergirl began to wonder if she could ever go back to the Amazon people. To learn how to fight better. To get stronger like Wonderwoman. She had been there a while back but it had been a long time. Her thoughts going back to the island was wrapping around her mind.

Aqualad had been meditating over matters that concerned him while sitting underwater, so he did not hear the announcement of someone either entering or leaving Mount Justice. It was required to tune out the sounds of the world when meditating for meditation revolves around clearing out unwanted rubbish that was blocking the thinking process. If it were not for the fact that he required something to eat, Kaldur would have stayed underwater for the rest of the day or until a mission was brought up.

The young Atlantean kicked off the ground floor, which propelled him up to the surface level. He climbed out of the water and headed towards the kitchen where he would find sustenance for his bodily needs. Kal wondered what he would prepare for himself as cooking was a skill he was still working on.

Before he made it to the kitchen though, he heard the sound of a question that he thought he should answer. It was rude to just let it be left up in the air for the insects to pick at.

"I believe they might be out bonding with their respective mentors. I would be myself, but Aquaman is very busy preparing for the future arrival of his child."

[Wondergirl]

Looking up she turned her head to see Aqualad. "Oh Aqualad how are you. Did not know you were here." Getting up she walked to him and smiled. "I guess that would make sence every one is with there mentors." With a smile she nodded "Tell Aquaman congratuation for me then. I kind of wonder how the league is going to take it with out him being there as often."

As she looked at him she was really not sure what to say to him at all. "So what have you been up to today?"

It wasn't the first time he had snuck up on someone, and it definitely wouldn't be the last. Kal wondered if Wonder Girl was going to hang out with Wonder Woman or something."I shall indeed pass on the congratulations, and I thank you ahead of time for them."

Kaldur has actually done very little in comparison to what he did on other days. He had spent an hour practicing with his water channelers, and then proceeded to meditate on things. "Not a whole lot. How about you?"

[Wondergirl]

Wondergirl smiled and nodded. "It will be a great day for them." Wondergirl went to the kitchen and grabbed something to drink. "You will be there when the baby is born?" Wondergirl wasn't really sure how close he was to Aquaman.

Shaking her head she smiled at him. "I'm bored really. Got done with school and came here. Glad its the weekend and I can just relax. With out hearing my mother getting on me." That was something she hated she couldn't argue with her mother or good bye powers.

Kaldur was not sure how to answer her next question about whether he would be present for the birth of the future king of Atlantis. "If I am invited to attend, then I shall go as long as I am not needed elsewhere." He was not sure what he would be doing around the time the baby was going to be born.

"If you are bored, then why not train using the monkey bots we salvaged from when we were guarding Amazo's body? They are good sparring partners and can be programmed to fight using various tactics, but don't let Superboy see them." The young Kryptonian had some fear of monkeys or something that Kal did not try to find out about. It seemed like a bad topic to bring up.

[Wondergirl]

Wondergirl nodded to what he had said. "Well I hope you will be able to go." Cassie didn't know much about that kind of stuff with royal families but she figured it woudl be a good honor to be there. "So will you have to protect the baby from time to time?"

Looking at him she sigh. "More work its the weekend I just want at least a afternoon off." She flew back to the couch and sat down. "Plus during the week had my own bad guy to take down at home. Stupid people robbing banks. they will never learn."

"I am sure that I will be called on to protect the child if the need becomes dire, but the Royal Family alone is a formidable force in itself and lets not forget the Atlantean army that is in between them and whoever is foolish enough to attack Atlantis." Except that hadn't stopped that one villain from attacking, but Aquaman had not been there. They would be ready for such an assault now that they knew people were coming after things that were a part of the Atlantean science program.

Wonder Girl's assessment and comments made Kaldur remember the last villain that he had fought. It had not been difficult, but it had been rather annoying. "If they learned, then you would either be out of a job or having to do more work. Both are on the same level of enjoyment to me."

[Wondergirl]

Looking up at him she nodded. "Well i don't know much about Atlantis. If you could would go back and stay there?" Wondergirl had been debating her self on going back to the home of Wonderwoman and stay there to live after high school. Her mom would have no choice but to agree for she hoped.

"Still your powers won't be taken away. Mine if I fail one class with a low B i can say good bye to my powers." Cassie just sat there adn looked at him. "So today is my day off! You can't stop me for having a calming day off either." She smiled at him. "Have a mother like mine and you'll wish every day was a weekend."

Kaldur had actually considered the question that Wonder Girl posed once before when he had been talking to Batman after a mission when the team had not really taken down the bad guy. "I am always free to go back, but splitting my time between two places is not a healthy way to function.

"I would never dream of preventing you from having a day of relaxation." Kaldur smiled back though he was not sure what Wonder Girl was complaining about. It must be nice to have a mother who is so actively involved in her child's life that she values the importance of a good education. "So what are you going to do during this relaxation time of yours?"

[Wondergirl]

Cassie nodded to what he said. "Do you go home though? Like once a week or just a few times a month?" Cassie didn't know him to well and actually wanted to get to know him better. She figured this was going to be a good start.

SOon she started to laugh. "I have no clue. Once I start having fun Batman is going to say we have a mission or somethign like that will come up. It always seems to happen that way." Cassie flew back to the couch and sat on the edge of it. "So what do you do for fun?"

He hadn't actually gone back to Atlantis after the attack had taken place as Kal thought that he wouldn't be able to leave his people again. The destruction that he had seen made him feel bad for leaving in the first place, but staying would have meant watching his best friend be with the girl he loved and that was painful. He was happy for Garth and Tula, but it did not make the pain go away. "I will go back to Atlantis for a few days in a few months. Until then, I'm here for the team."

Fun was something that Kaldur had a different opinion on then everyone else. He believed training was extremely fun as it meant that he got to use his powers in a more recreational manner, but he didn't believe that was an answer that Wonder Girl wanted. "I once went to the beach with the rest of the team when we had free time."

[Wondergirl]

Wonder Girl nodded to what he said. "Well that is cool then." She fliped to the couch and flew back up. She was really bored and looked at him. She only got here about a month ago and smiled. "The beach that is cool. We are so going to have to do that again. Since the beach is always fun." Wonder Girl looked at him and smiled. "You know its funny how you guys are taller then the girls well beside Robin he is short." Wonder girl looked up at him still smiling.

"hmm lets do something fun right now." She took hold of his hand and went to the pool area they had. "Lets do laps not to race but to have fun." She kicked off her shoes and took off her shirt and pants. She had a bikini under her clothes. Which was a red bikini. "Lets go Aqualad." She dived into the water and came back up and smiled at him.

Kaldur would have loved to go to the beach again with the team as it would be a good bonding experience for them as well as a nice relaxation spot for them. Though, he was not sure what to make of Robin being the shortest member on the team comment. "I think that he is due for a growth spurt, and Kid Flash seems to be the same heights as some of you." Then again, Kaldur was always looking down at them so Kid Flash might have been taller.

Her sudden change of topic to taking a swim was sort of bizarre to Kaldur, but he had learned that surface teenagers had a tendency to never stay on topic. "It is a good thing that it is not a race as I would have the advantage." He was after all a natural in the water, which is why he was always wearing his suit. Kaldur jumped into the pool and re-emerged in front of her.

[Wondergirl]

Wondergirl smiled and nodded. "I do hope he does get a little more taller." Cassie was floating there as she waited for him to jump in. Once he did she smiled and began to float and started to swim. Going down she reached the floor and just swam to the other side of the pool. Floating up she smiled. "The water is really nice."

Looking at him she shook her head. "Yeah you would win against me. I can't swim that fast. I'm a good swimmer but not that good." She smiled and went back under and swam back to the other side. "You see this is fun to bad the others are not here."
